Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to provide support for a healthcare organization in Linthicum, Maryland. This role will help maintain daily HR operations during a contract leave on the team, ensuring employee matters, benefits activity, and compliance-related documentation continue to move forward without disruption. The ideal candidate can work independently, manage urgent HR issues with sound judgment, and bring hands-on experience with HR systems and employee support processes.
Responsibilities:

Oversee daily human resources activities and serve as a dependable point of contact for employees and managers on routine and time-sensitive HR matters.

Administer employee relations processes, including workplace concerns, policy guidance, and support for sensitive personnel situations with appropriate documentation.

Manage benefits-related activities such as enrollments, employee questions, status changes, and preparation for upcoming open enrollment periods.

Maintain accurate HR records and ensure files, communications, and supporting documentation are organized and compliant with internal standards.

Coordinate onboarding and other employee lifecycle processes to help deliver a consistent and efficient experience for new and existing staff.

Use the HRIS and related systems to update employee information, track transactions, and support reporting needs for the HR function.

Partner with leadership to keep tactical HR operations on schedule while broader strategic initiatives remain in progress.

Provide support for payroll-related processes when needed, helping address questions, data validation, and cross-functional follow-up.
Requirements • Proven experience in an HR Manager or senior HR Generalist capacity with the ability to independently handle day-to-day human resources operations.

Strong background in employee relations, HR administration, and benefits management, including open enrollment support.

Experience responding to employee accommodation matters and other sensitive HR issues while maintaining clear and thorough documentation.

Working knowledge of HRIS platforms; experience with Paylocity is preferred, though similar systems are also valuable.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to urgent employee needs.

Familiarity with onboarding processes and maintaining accurate personnel records throughout the employee lifecycle.

Exposure to payroll coordination or payroll-adjacent support is preferred.
