As a Engineering Technician II, you will be at the heart of our mission — transforming innovative designs into life-changing diabetes technology that reaches patients across the globe.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.

  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.

  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.

  • Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

  • Maintain machines and manufacturing equipment working in excellent conditions. Inspect their mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic components to detect or verify that they are operating properly.

  • Assemble and install equipment and machinery using hand precision tools.

  • Perform investigation to no-conformance product (PRB).

  • Maintain work relations and coordination with personnel in the production, quality and Engineering department.

  • Must be available to flexible work hours.

  • Support Validations activities and assist in the PODs generation.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Requires minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent (United States), vocational or technical education or certification (all other countries).

Nice to Have:

  • Associate/Bachelor Degree (Electronic, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology or related)

  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point

  • Fluent in Spanish and English

  • SAP knowledge

  • Vision System basic knowledge

  • PLC basic knowledge

  • Knowledge on the interpretation of electrical and mechanical schematics

  • Troubleshooting knowledge on electronic and mechanical components, equipment or systems.
