Full job description
Our client, a leader in commercial real estate services, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 4, you will be part of the operations supporting the maintenance and engineering excellence of world-class facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Facilities Technician 4
Location: Costa Mesa, CA
Pay Range: $42 to $46 per hour
What's the Job?

Oversee and supervise facility operations and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of building systems.

Perform comprehensive inspections and maintenance on equipment including fire/life safety, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and backup systems.

Respond promptly to alarms and system malfunctions, troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions.

Manage site operations, permits, and inventory of tools and supplies to support ongoing maintenance needs.

Lead safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence.
What's Needed?

Experience in industrial or commercial maintenance, preferably at the journeyman or master level.

Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.

Ability to perform equipment inspections, troubleshoot malfunctions, and maintain operational records.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.

Availability to participate in rotating on-call schedules for emergency response.
