Registered Nurse II - Postpartum*

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is hiring for a Registered Nurse II in the Postpartum Unit. Registered Nurse II's at ARMC practice at a high-level of professional autonomy in a fast-paced teaching environment. Typical duties include assessing, planning, evaluating, and implementing patient care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and organizational policy, as well as administering medications and treatments, performing documentation, and educating patients and families on their healthcare options.

The current vacancy is for Night Shift. The resulting eligible list may be used to fill additional vacancies as they occur.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical and verification of employment history and education.

License/Certifications: RN license, and Basic Life Support, and depending on the area of assignment, additional certification(s) may be required and must be maintained throughout employment.

Shift Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; applicants must be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. Shift differentials are provided.

Sponsorship: Please note San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future. Candidates must possess all of the following:

License: Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.

Experience: One (1) or more years of full-time experience as a licensed registered nurse. Certification: Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and must possess and maintain the following unit specific certification required to work in the Postpartum Unit:

• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) Certification issued by American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
