About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (Hearing Care Advisor) to join a growing team supporting members through a new partnership with Cigna. In this role, you will serve as a trusted resource for insurance members by answering questions about hearing care benefits, provider networks, and clinic locations while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This is not a high-volume, transactional call center environment. Success in this role comes from providing personalized support, actively listening, and ensuring each member receives the information they need.
Responsibilities

Handle approximately 40-60 inbound calls per day from insurance members.

Explain hearing care benefits and insurance coverage details.

Verify member eligibility and benefits information.

Assist members in locating in-network hearing care providers and clinics.

Provide guidance on available hearing healthcare resources.

Transfer qualified callers to scheduling teams when appropriate.

Document customer interactions accurately and professionally.

Deliver a high level of customer service while maintaining compliance and confidentiality.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
-
Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Ability to navigate multiple computer systems while speaking with customers.
Schedule
The contact center operates between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
Available shifts include:

8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Additional shift options available for candidates with flexible scheduling availability.
Training
New hires will complete a 4-6 week training program consisting of hands-on learning, job shadowing, and guided coaching. Team members will transition to their assigned schedules upon successful completion of training.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glencoe, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $21.63/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
