Substitute Teacher Compensation: $100 per day for non?certified candidates; $130 per day for certified candidates.

• High School Diploma or GED

• 18+ years of age of older (Middle/High Schools 21+ years of age or older)

• Negative TB Test

• Pass Background Screens

• Completion of Kelly Education Training

Paraprofessional/Teacher Assistant: $13.33 per hour for non-certified candidates; $17.33 per hour for certified candidates

• High School Diploma or GED

• 18+ years of age of older (Middle/High Schools 21+ years of age or older)

• Negative TB Test

• Pass Background Screens

• Completion of Kelly Education Training

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support to students in various subject areas, including math, literacy, and special education.

• Follow lesson plans and curriculum provided by the regular classroom teacher.

• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students, including those with autism or other developmental challenges.

• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and student engagement.

• Monitor student behavior and enforce classroom rules and procedures.

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.

• Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher regarding student progress and any issues that arise during the day.

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED and experience in education or a related field preferred.

• Experience working with children.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and follow established lesson plans.

• Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with children.

-Must be available to work at least eight days a month.

Note: This position is on an as-needed basis, filling in for regular classroom teachers when they are absent. Substitute teachers may be called upon to work in various grade levels, from preschool to high school.
