Summary

TTB's mission is steeped in America's history, from the time of the Whiskey Rebellion to the work of agents like Eliot Ness. Duties

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-5. You will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this developmental position. Utilizes available computer software (including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and graphics) in preparing memoranda, letters, reports, charts, forms and other material from rough drafts, oral instructions and handwritten notes. Serves as a consultant and reference source to other clerks in answering questions encountered in their work. Also serves as consultant to supervisor of the unit. Prepares transmittals of approved tax refund claims to Financial Management Division (FMD) for processing. Requirements

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. To be eligible for the Recent Graduates Program, applicants must have, within the previous 2 years*, completed all educational requirements for a qualifying associates, bachelors, masters, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying institution; or intended graduation is no more than 9 months from date of application. (However, you must graduate prior to being appointed to the position.) if applicable. Education- In the Recent Graduates Program you may qualify based solely on education as follows: Four (4) years of education above the high school level. Experience: You may qualify with one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-4 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: -Utilizing computer systems to enter data and prepare reports; OR -Reviewing files or documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance. OR C. You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions. Education
