Job Description

The Operations Coordinator supports daily transportation and field operations by serving as a liaison between dispatch, drivers, mechanics, customers, accounting, and operations teams. This role is responsible for resolving ticketing issues, coordinating trucking activities, maintaining compliance documentation, analyzing operational data, and ensuring efficient communication across departments. Key Responsibilities

  • Support dispatch and operations teams with daily scheduling, routing, and customer requests.
  • Review and resolve rejected or disputed trucking tickets while coordinating with dispatch, operations, customers, and accounting.
  • Assist with bid requests by analyzing trucking and resource requirements.
  • Verify truck registrations, permits, insurance, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and operational data for management review.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, emails, and operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with field personnel, including drivers, mechanics, dispatchers, and operations leaders.
  • Assist Credit and Collections with billing research and dispute resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records across multiple operational systems and databases.
  • Support administrative functions, meetings, and special projects as needed.

Skills and Requirements

  • HS diploma
  • 1-3+ years of industry experience in the oil field, trucking, water transfer, disposal or logistics
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience
  • Must be computer proficient Microsoft suite
  • Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables and VLookups)
