Job Description

Humana Inc. seeks a Director, Technology Solutions in Louisville, KY.

Duties:

• Lead a senior technical product team in planning, development, deployment, and overall success of Humana’s Enterprise Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). [25%]

• Articulate and evangelize Enterprise API logical architecture and patterns including any interim and transition states. [10%]

• Lead the creation of standard solution architecture patterns for Enterprise API consumers and providers. [20%]

• Lead creation and management of an enterprise repository of synchronous and asynchronous interactions and interfaces. [10%]

• Define and evangelize API design, development and operationalization standards. [20%]

• Define and enforce the process and guidelines Enterprise API lifecycle management. [5%]

• Co-create Enterprise API provisioning and consumption security standards with Enterprise Information Security. [5%]

• Lead engineering of shared/platform capabilities to enable federated Enterprise API development. [5%]

This role supervises employees with the following job titles: Lead Enterprise Architect, Senior Enterprise Architect, Senior Product Owner, Lead Product Manager, Senior Product Owner,

Lead Product Owner and Associate Director.

100% telecommuting permitted within the U.S.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 10 years of experience in Enterprise software engineering roles.

Requires 10 years of experience with the following skills:

• Diagnosing, defining technology problems and collecting data.

• Developing integration strategies and architectures between disparate systems, cross segment or cross enterprise reusable and standardized systems integration components.

Requires 5 years of experience with the following skills:

• Defining technology standards and building frameworks for adoption and governance.

• Poly-cloud environments, cloud services, and platform software.

Requires 4 years of experience with the following skill:

• Cloud technologies including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure.

• Healthcare Enrollment, Claims, Clinical, Financial, Digital and Call Center Experience.

Pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.
