Full job description
Description We are looking for a Global Payroll Analyst to support payroll operations for a dynamic organization. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for a payroll specialist who brings strong multi-state payroll expertise, values accuracy, and can deliver dependable support in a high-volume environment. The role will work closely with HR and Accounting to help maintain compliant payroll practices, resolve employee questions, and strengthen payroll processes across the business.
Responsibilities:

Manage payroll processing across weekly, biweekly, semimonthly, and monthly schedules while verifying accuracy before final submission.

Review taxes, benefit deductions, wage attachments, and other withholdings to ensure payroll results align with applicable regulations and company policies.

Update and maintain employee payroll information, including new employee entries, status changes, compensation adjustments, and ongoing record accuracy.

Assist with year-end payroll activities, tax reporting, audit support, and required documentation such as W-2 preparation.

Reconcile payroll-related ledger activity and collaborate with Accounting to research and resolve variances.

Serve as a point of contact for payroll questions from employees and managers, providing timely and effective issue resolution.

Maintain payroll and timekeeping systems by supporting tax updates, plan changes, and day-to-day system accuracy.

Partner with HR and Finance on payroll initiatives designed to improve efficiency, compliance, and operational consistency.

Contribute to payroll-related integrations, acquisition support, and implementation efforts tied to business growth and system enhancements. Requirements • At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing full-cycle, multi-state payroll operations.

Strong working knowledge of payroll tax regulations, compliance requirements, and general payroll administration practices.

Experience using payroll platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, Workday Payroll, or comparable HRIS/payroll systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis used to support payroll review and reconciliation.

Ability to process payroll for a large employee population with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Solid analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.

Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Exposure to international payroll processes and bilingual Spanish skills are considered an advantage.
