Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Director of ERP for one of our aerospace customers. On a day-to-day basis, the Director, Enterprise Applications leads the teams, systems, and business partnerships that keep the organization’s core applications running effectively. This includes overseeing ERP and enterprise application performance, prioritizing business needs, guiding project execution, resolving system and process issues, partnering with cross-functional leaders, and ensuring technology solutions support manufacturing, warehouse, supply chain, quality, finance, commercial, and operational objectives. This role will be managing 4 direct reports to start, with the likelihood of additional team growth. This person must be comfortable working in an autonomous environment without direct supervision. For candidates who do not have director level experience, there will be more leadership coaching availabile to those that want it! Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Manage application support priorities, escalation processes, and service delivery expectations across business-critical systems.
  • Partner with business leaders to assess system needs, define requirements, and align application roadmaps to operational goals.
  • Oversee project intake, prioritization, resource planning, and execution for enterprise application initiatives.
  • Ensure system reliability, data integrity, security compliance, and process consistency across the application portfolio.
  • Lead vendor relationships, contract discussions, and performance management for key application platforms and service providers.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, improve reporting, and increase automation across the business.
  • Provide clear communication to leadership on project status, system risks, business impacts, and recommended decisions.

Compensation: $132,000 to $190,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience managing enterprise business applications.
  • 5+ years leading enterprise technology teams.
  • Deep expertise supporting ERP solutions in manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with WMS, MES, QMS, PLM, and enterprise integration platforms.
  • Experience supporting Multi company/multi-plant environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Power Platform & Workflow Automation experience
  • Master Data Governance experience
  • Experience with AI & Digital Transformation Technologies
