Six years of full-time experience in any field plus three years of social services experience; OR

A bachelor's degree plus three years of social services experience; OR

An advanced degree plus two years of social services experience.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. • Supervises and provides guidance to Medicaid Analysts to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality processing of applications, renewals, and beneficiary assistance.
• Monitors unit workflow, case distribution, productivity, and quality to ensure established state, regional, and national goals are met.
• Ensures staff compliance with Medicaid policies, procedures, regulations, and CMS requirements related to eligibility processing and case reviews.
• Conducts mandatory case reviews, investigates discrepancies and complaints, and takes corrective action to address errors and improve program compliance.
• Interviews applicants, recipients, and complainants regarding fair hearing rights, case concerns, and potential adjustments.
• Conducts staff evaluations and oversees employee onboarding, off boarding, leave management, and staffing needs to maintain adequate coverage for beneficiaries.
• Prepares required statistical reports and responds to Privacy Act and Freedom of Information Act requests while identifying and reporting potential fraud, waste, or abuse.
