How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Assists Pilot Selection with general administrative duties, which include but are not limited to:
-
Answer phones, refer calls to appropriate staff members and reply to voicemails
-
Managing walk-in traffic
-
Manage inventory of interview supplies
-
Prep and maintain the office space and interview rooms
-
Pick up, organize, and distribute mail
-
Serve as lunch back-up for the Candidate Care Program Leader
-
Identify and make recommendations to leaders on strategies for improved processes/procedures
-
Maintains and orders all office supplies
-
Maintains and restocks all daily supplies, including coffee, snacks, water
-
Daily scanning of interview guides to Sharepoint
-
Maintains all interview folders and disposes of per company retention
-
Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles

Consistently make the safety and security, of self and others, the priority
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
-
Must have a history of high-performing work
-
Must be able to provide attention to detail, be organized, methodical, and able to maintain strict confidentiality
-
Should demonstrate self-initiative and be able to work with minimal direction
-
Must communicate effectively in written and verbal formats
-
Will have to interface at all leadership levels within and outside of the organization
-
Must be able to effectively use MS suite of applications at least at an intermediate level
-
Pace of workflow will require the ability to plan, organize and effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
-
Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all processes and procedures
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
-
Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or Coordinator is preferred
-
An understanding of/experience in Flight Operations
-
A diverse background in Delta’s various operational departments
-
Knowledge of Delta’s processes and systems is a plus
