ZeroTrust Engineer

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Conditional Access & Zero Trust Security Consultant to support a strategic cybersecurity initiative focused on strengthening application security, reducing organizational attack surface, and minimizing blast radius in the event of account compromise. This individual will partner closely with security architects, application owners, and business stakeholders to evaluate and implement Conditional Access and Zero Trust controls across critical enterprise applications.

This role is highly collaborative and requires a blend of technical expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, identity security, and stakeholder engagement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cybersecurity, or Cloud Security.

Hands-on experience administering and implementing:

Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

Conditional Access Policies

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Identity Governance

B2B/B2C Identity Solutions

Strong understanding of Zero Trust security principles and architecture.

Experience securing enterprise SaaS, cloud, and federated applications.

Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols, including:

SAML

OAuth

OpenID Connect (OIDC)

Federation Services

Experience analyzing authentication, access, and security logs.

Ability to work directly with technical and business stakeholders.

Strong documentation and communication skills.

This is a Contract position based out of North Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
