PC&IS Engineer

Job Description

Our Client is seeking a PC&IS Engineer for a contract opportunity in St Louis, MO. This role will lead controls and automation efforts for capital projects, supporting equipment integration, validation, startup, and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities include managing contractors and vendors, developing and executing IQ/OQ/PQ strategies, supporting PLC, HMI, and network integration, troubleshooting controls issues, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The engineer will work closely with project teams, construction management, operations, and suppliers to drive successful project execution.

The ideal candidate has a strong controls background within a bottled product packaging environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to proactively lead technical discussions and project decisions.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of PC&IS (Power, Controls & Information Systems) engineering experience Engineering experience in liquid filling, packaging, and palletizing operations Experience leading controls and automation scope for capital projects Strong technical knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and machine control systems Experience with automated packaging equipment, including conveyors, palletizers, pumps, motors, and material handling systems Experience developing and executing validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) Experience with PackML, Upack, FBatch, ControlLogix, Kinetix, and PowerFlex Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills Prior P&G experience or experience supporting P&G projects Rockwell PLC programming and troubleshooting experience Experience with robotics, machine vision, WCS, and WMS systems Experience supporting startup, commissioning, and operational readiness activities
