Junior Technical Project Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Junior Technical Project Manager to support a high-visibility digital platform initiative focused on free online learnings and resources for small businesses. This individual will serve as a key extension of the program leadership team, helping drive delivery across multiple cross-functional workstreams while ensuring alignment between business, product, UX, and technical partners. This role is approximately 50% technical and 50% functional, requiring someone who can successfully manage project execution, facilitate communication between stakeholders, remove roadblocks, and drive accountability across the cross functional partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, collaborative, and possesses exceptional interpersonal skills. Success in this role will require balancing project management responsibilities with hands-on coordination across product, technology, and business teams. On a day to day basis the candidate will drive project execution across approximately 10 cross-functional workstreams in support of the platform, lead project kickoff meetings and establish processes to ensure successful delivery of key initiatives such as user acceptance testing processes and release date timelines. A main focus for this role will be to project manage the end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, including timelines, stakeholder coordination, communication plans, and issue resolution. Candidates should be comfortable tracking project milestones, understanding dependencies, risks, and action items to ensure deliverables remain on schedule.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of Project Management, Technical Project Management, Project Coordination experience Knowledge of digital platforms Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving business and technical stakeholders Strong experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and stakeholder readiness activities Hands-on experience working with: Jira (user stories, backlog management, ticket tracking) and Confluence Comfortable with Excel, as well as Google Workspace/Drive Experience gathering and documenting business requirements Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines simultaneously Experience coordinating deliverables across engineering, product, UX, and business teams Exposure to AWS cloud environments Familiarity with AI tools such as NotebookLM, Gemini
