Job Summary
The Manager II role leads multiple Sales Executives who initiate, negotiate and close energy sales, Partner Marketing Agreements and Continuous Service Agreements across the ERCOT and MWNE service areas.Champions development of process improvement mechanisms to increase sales and reduce non sales related time.These sales must meet or exceed company profit guidelines while adhering to all company and regulatory guidelines.

Key Accountabilities
•Achieve or exceed monthly / annual residential and commercial sales goals
•Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that align with operational and regulatory guidelines while supporting company growth and profitability objectives across a multi-state region
•Partner with energy brokers to support sales, marketing, and promotional efforts for channel products and meet or exceed sales quotas
•Lead ongoing efforts to identify, recruit, and develop potential employees, including creating and managing compensation plans
•Collaborate closely with Product and P&L teams to evaluate product mix, margins, and customer incentives, ensuring channel offerings remain competitive while meeting profitability requirements
•Lead recruiting initiatives to expand and strengthen sales team
•Travel to satellite sales offices and trade shows as needed; at least 20% of time will be spent in satellite offices and/or at trade shows.
•Manage expenditures to ensure funds are utilized effectively, remain within approved budgets, and comply with corporate policies and procedures.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
•2+ years of experience in sales management
•5+ years of experience in sales negotiations and contracting
•2+ years leading a team
•Energy related sales experience
•Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and individuals
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
Key Metrics
•Achieve commercial Term GM target through sales efforts (both acquisition and renewal)
•Support, through sales efforts, the acquisition of residential customers (Multi-Family and Homebuilders) that exceed channel gains targets
•Effectively manage and administrate the sales executives, including attendance of trade shows, expense management, and pipeline compliance
•Grow the number of Partner Marketing Agreements and Continuous Service Agreements to expand the units under management
