Coordinator Quality Improvement RN

Work location: Texas Health Allen, 1105 Central Expressway North, Allen Texas 75013

Work hours: Full Time, 32 Hours; 8:00am - 5:00pm, 4 days a week

Quality Management Department highlights:

Here's What You Need

  • Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required

  • BSN preferred or

  • Master's degree in health-related field preferred

  • Three years of experience in acute care setting required

  • One year of experience in healthcare quality/performance improvement preferred

  • RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required

  • CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality within 3 years preferred

What You Will Do

  • Provide leadership and vision for sepsis and other patient populations in terms of operation, services and patient care

  • Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with physicians, staff and peers to support implementation and ongoing evaluation of care delivery

  • Oversee and facilitate care and follow up on patients

  • Coordinate education of staff on established standards

  • Communicate with members of the team regarding findings of case reviews and abstraction.

  • Analyze date and suggest opportunity to improve the delivery of patient care

Texas Health Allen has served our community and the surrounding Collin County areas since 2000. Our 88-bed, acute-care hospital provides quality medical care to patients from Allen, Lucas, Fairview, McKinney, Melissa, Wylie, and nearby communities.

We specialize in robotic and minimally invasive surgery, advanced cardiology, electrophysiology, orthopedic and spine treatments, as well as comprehensive women's and infant care. As an Accredited Chest Pain Center and STEMI-receiving facility, over 500 physicians practice across more than 25 specialties at our hospital.

Texas Health Allen holds multiple certifications, including Joint Commission Gold Seal Certification as a Chest Pain facility, Level II Maternal and NICU designations, and recognition as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. The hospital also earned Pathways to Excellence designation and Joint Commission Acute Heart Attack Ready (AHAR) Disease-Specific Certification.
