Job Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for the assigned preventative maintenance and repair of equipment, systems and building of basic production areas in our facility.

• Perform mechanical trouble shooting and repair with the limited assistance and/or supervision.

• Perform varying degrees or repairs and maintenance.

• Assist in the installation of new equipment and making modifications when necessary.

• Participate in Emergency Response Team.

• Job duties not limited to shop work only. Will need to maintain an 85%-95% work order/preventive maintenance completion rate depending on workload.

• Follow all company rules for food safety and employee safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communications skills.

• Follow verbal and written instructions.

• Climb a ladder and work safely in high places.

• Lift and move heavy objects.

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment systems.

• Good mechanical aptitude.

• The ability to work well Team Members or independent.

• The desire to further themselves in the Maintenance Department.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Ability to work in cold, wet, humid environment and work in heights and confined spaces.

• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 38-50 degrees or 60-90 degrees depending on the department.
