The Office Coordinator position performs a variety of demanding administrative duties that require a higher-level degree of initiative, accuracy, judgment, and knowledge as necessary to support the effective operation of the Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Practitioner, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs in the School of Nursing and Allied Health (SONAH).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Articulates transcripts and advises potential graduate student applicants. Maintains, reviews, and tracks all student academic and health records associated with the assigned program. Reviews student health records and sends annual reminders to students when CPR, TB testing or other information must be updated. Processes and tracks student admission materials and health records for students. Maintains updated affiliation agreements with clinical facilities

Provides clerical support to faculty. Sends program information to prospective students. Facilitates office communication. Changes student majors and assigns faculty advisors. Monitors progression and assists with course registration for students. Initiates, reviews, and revises Schedule Bulletin of courses offered each term. Schedules meetings and events in Astra.

Responsible for student and faculty data entry, tracking, and reporting to state boards and accrediting agencies. Provides administrative support for admissions by developing excel spreadsheets with individual student data. Assists with maintaining the SONAH website for assigned programs. Provides basic computer support for office-related software questions as needed.

Assists with recruitment and retention efforts. Assists with planning and implementation of SONAH events such as Orientation, Convocation, and Graduation. Provides student support and advisement. Provides tours and guidance for potential students and their families. Records minutes for committee meetings as assigned. Maintains office equipment and orders supplies. Assists undergraduate programs as needed
Job Requirements:

High School diploma or GED

At least two years of administrative experience, clerical experience, or office administration.
Additional Information:
Hourly Rate: $17.44
