THE POSITION

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Liquor Store General Manager 4 to lead the operations of our Fine Wine & Good Spirits store at Cranberry Mall in Cranberry Township.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a General Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store’s performance, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving operational success. You will be a key leader overseeing day to day activities, developing a high performing team, and implementing strategies to exceed sales targets while maintaining a top tier store environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Store Leadership: Guide daily activities to keep operations running smoothly and support business goals

  • Staff Management: Direct and motivate employees, delegate tasks, and provide coaching and training

  • Sales Support: Drive sales by managing inventory, stocking products, and assisting customers with selection and recommendations

  • Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment for customers and staff

  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor stock levels and ensure products are placed and displayed in an organized way

  • Compliance Duties: Help maintain adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies relating to alcohol sales

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Liquor Store General Manager 3C (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration;or

  • Two years as a Liquor Store General Manager 3B (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or

  • Three years as a Liquor Store General Manager 3A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or

  • Four years as a Liquor Store General Manager 2B (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or

  • Five years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 3 or a Liquor Store General Manager 2A (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration);or

  • Eight years of supervisory retail sales work.
