Overview

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

  • Full-time

  • 40 hours per week

  • See approximately 20 patients per day, ages 18 and above

  • Clinic on campus at Monroe

  • Must be comfortable working autonomously

  • Base salary- depending on experience

  • CME Allowance

  • PTO

  • Full menu of benefits

  • Medical Malpractice including tail coverage

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • MSN with specialization as an ARNP.

  • Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.

  • BLS upon hire and maintain current .

  • One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.

  • Previous experience with electronic health record.
