We are seeking a Staff Development Manager, a dynamic, driven professional leader who will play a critical role in the grand opening of Emerson Lakes, one of Erickson Senior Living’s most anticipated new communities in beautiful Lakewood Ranch, Florida. In this role, you will lead effective strategies for training, development, and retention of staff for our Dining Services Department. This position is a key role that works with current and future staff to mentor and monitor their professional skills and development.

Emerson Lakes will be a premier, state-of-the-art continuing care retirement community designed to serve more than 1,500 residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care. This gated community will feature an impressive array of amenities, including multiple restaurants, a stunning outdoor swimming pool, a cutting-edge fitness center, an onsite medical center, and much more.

• Compensation: commensurate with experience starting at $70,000.00 per year plus annual bonus.

• Compensation: Starting at $70,000 - $84,000 annually, commensurate with experience

How you will make an impact:

• Coordinate and facilitate new hire employee orientations for the dining department.

• Develop, coordinate, and present training programs for dining service and sanitation skills.

• Collaborate with the community recruiter to support outreach efforts and source qualified applicants.

• Oversee and ensure an efficient hiring and onboarding process for all dining staff, in partnership with the HR department.

What you will need:

• A proven track record of managing and motivating teams in a customer service setting

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

• Experience in food service or have completed an educational food service management program preferred

• Related experience in recruitment, staff development, and training is desirable.

• Available to work on weekends and holidays
