Oversight of events and event management team. Building customer relationships

About the job

In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for orchestrating the seamless planning and execution of events that leave a lasting impact. From collaborating with executive leaders to ensuring flawless logistics, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the company’s presence and aligning events with strategic communication goals.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $74290 per year - $96140 per year

  • Plan and execute all aspects of events, meetings, and presentations led by executives or with reach across Sodexo North America.

  • Manage presentation development, site vendors, and logistics while ensuring alignment with brand standards and communication strategies.

  • Collaborate closely with executive leaders to plan and execute events.

  • Focus on efficient planning, development, and execution to maximize time and budget investments.

  • Demonstrated success in driving results through strategic planning, efficient execution, and innovative problem-solving.

  • Project management skills with experience coordinating complex events from start to finish.

  • Expertise in planning, organizing, and managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines and budget constraints.

  • Skilled in influencing and negotiating to build strong relationships with vendors, stakeholders, and leadership teams.

  • Exceptional communication and specialized writing skills to ensure clear, impactful messaging for all event materials.

Requirements

  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Management Experience: 3 years

  • Related Experience: 3 years
