Standard Job Description

Identify and manage internal and external all-source Military Operations, including both analytical and collection requirements from across the Military Operations community. Reports to the Survey Analysis Center Chief. May work alone or with DoD civilians and military personnel. Performs a variety of activities in one or more of the following and/or related areas: interfaces with other offices and agencies to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks, identifies requirements and tasks them to the appropriate collection elements, verifies that responses meet requirements, compiles the daily activities report and distributes, coordinates with the specified targets- webmaster to verify reporting data is posted to the web portal, coordinates with operations centers and operational leads to support missions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Contribute to the strategic planning, resourcing, and execution of mission-critical initiatives.

  • Integrate operational requirements into the Future Years Defense Program through weekly synchronization meetings and collaboration with portfolio leads.

  • Support the planning and facilitation of key meetings to distribute budgetary guidance and solicit stakeholder feedback.

  • Ensure resource strategies remain aligned with DoW priorities, providing comprehensive support for both planned and contingency operations.

  • Proactively identify funding gaps and overlaps, thereby minimizing inefficiencies and preventing redundant investments within the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle.

  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and higher headquarters, translating complex data into actionable intelligence.

  • Utilize quantitative models to assess portfolio health, optimize resource allocation, and evaluate risk-to-mission tradeoffs.

  • Generate analytical products and reports to enable informed decision-making and effective resource alignment.

  • TS/SCI or ability to obtain.

Desired Skills

  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

  • Working knewledge of SharePoint.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of military organizational structures, and the functional interrelationships

  • Must be a self-starter and work independently with no or minimum guidance and be willing to listen and work with others

  • Above average verbal and oral communication skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $80200.00 - $149000.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
