Job Overview
Commercial printing company in Union County is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Certified Forklift Operator/ Inventory Clerk to join our team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of goods, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your expertise in forklift operation and inventory management will contribute directly to our commitment to timely order fulfillment and exceptional customer service.
Duties

Safely operate seated forklift and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and transport paper and printed materials within the plant

Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management spreadsheets

Prepare finished materials for shipment by packing/wrapping/labeling skids and cartons

Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into inventory management spreadsheets
-
Collaborate with supervisor to coordinate order fulfillment and ensure proper packaging

Load and unload trucks

Make occasional deliveries using company vehicle

Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting routine inspections

Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
-
Current OSHA-accepted forklift driver certification
-
Valid driver’s license
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Ability to communicate in spoken and written English
-
2+ years of experience operating a forklift and managing inventory in a printing company
-
Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 70 pounds
-
Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately
-
Data entry skills
Desired Qualifications

Strong knowledge of inventory management and shipping & receiving
-
Familiarity with Print Management Information Systems such as PACE
Pay and Benefits
Pay rate is $17-$22/hour. The company offers paid vacation and sick leave, health benefits, and a Simple IRA plan.
