Sr. Product Line Manager - Fleet

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Product Line Manager in Fort Mill, SC. This individual will own long-term strategy and performance for key equipment categories across rental fleet. The role is responsible for driving utilization, ROI, lifecycle cost optimization, supplier strategy, sourcing decisions, fleet planning, and overall product line performance. The ideal candidate will come from an equipment rental, industrial equipment, manufacturing, OEM, fleet management, or asset management background and have experience owning a product line or equipment category with measurable business impact. This person will serve as a strategic leader across Operations, Fleet, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain while working directly with suppliers and executive leadership to influence fleet investments, technology adoption, and long-term growth initiatives.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of product management, fleet management, capital equipment sourcing, asset management, or related experience
• Experience owning a product line, equipment category, or business segment
• Proven experience improving utilization, ROI, lifecycle cost, margin, or operational performance
• Strong background in Power Generation equipment
• MBA or advanced degree
• Professional certifications (CEM, CEFM, EMS, CPM)
• Equipment rental industry experience (United Rentals, Herc, H&E, EquipmentShare, etc.)
• OEM experience (CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, JLG, Genie, John Deere, etc.)
• Experience with capital allocation decisions
• Experience introducing new equipment technologies or product offerings
• Experience building processes and scaling product management functions
• Leadership experience with direct or indirect teams
