Logistics Specialist | Saraland, AL

Our client, a leading aerospace and advanced manufacturing company, is seeking an Logistics Specialist to join their team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be part of the Supply Chain and Logistics team supporting global transportation and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, accountability, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Location: Saraland, AL (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $38/hr

What’s the Job?

  • Analyze and develop logistics plans supporting production, distribution, and inventory management.

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments across ocean, air, road, and rail transportation modes.

  • Prepare and review international shipping and export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates.

  • Ensure compliance with hazardous materials shipping regulations and international trade requirements.

  • Support global logistics operations while maximizing customer satisfaction and minimizing transportation costs.

What’s Needed?

  • 0-2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, or supply chain operations.

  • Knowledge of international transportation modes, including ocean, air, road, and rail freight.

  • Experience preparing shipping and export documentation such as commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and export declarations.

  • Understanding of transportation compliance requirements, including IATA, IMDG, DOT, and U.S. export regulations.

  • Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and stakeholder coordination skills.
