Job Description

The Landfill Gas CQA Inspector supports Construction Quality Assurance activities for landfill gas collection and control system installations. This role is responsible for observing, documenting, and verifying that landfill gas infrastructure is installed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, regulatory requirements, and the project CQA Plan. The inspector works closely with engineers, contractors, and QA managers to ensure system integrity, safety, and compliance.

Skills and Requirements

  • 2-3 years Construction, inspection, or environmental field experience

  • 2 years of CQA or CQA/QC inspection experience

  • OSHA 40‑Hour HAZWOPER certification

  • Experience working on environmental infrastructure projects

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications required

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

  • Comfortable working onsite in active landfill and construction environments

  • Ability to communicate professionally with contractors and project teams Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites

  • Familiarity with landfill gas systems or HDPE piping installations preferred

  • Knowledge of landfill gas regulatory requirements (e.g., Title 27 / NSPS support experience) is a plus
