Position Overview
The Registered/Certified Behavior Technician (RBT/CBT) implements behavioral intervention plans and facilitates educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs. Working under the supervision of a BCBA or BCABA, the Behavior Technician collaborates with school professionals and behavioral specialists to support learning goals, positive behavior development, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.
Minimum Requirements

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/or State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license as required by state, contract, or client

Must be supervised by a BCBA or BCABA

One year of relevant experience preferred

Associate degree in behavioral studies or a related field preferred

Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice

Current CPR certification (if applicable)

TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

Current health certificate (per contract or state regulations)
-
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
