Full job description

Description

The RN Supervisor is responsible for supervision of the clinical staff (MA, LVN, RN) in the assigned community practice.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee daily clinical operations including supply management and workflow coordination to ensure efficient clinic performance.

  • Provide triage support and direct patient care as needed to maintain safe and timely service delivery.

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor clinical staff; conduct training, competency assessments, and performance evaluations.

  • Support recruitment efforts including interviewing, onboarding, and developing new clinical team members.

  • Work alongside providers and clinical staff on the floor, assisting with procedures, medication verification for MA staff, rooming patients, and conducting nurse visits.

  • Ensure clinical workflows, processes, and equipment remain compliant, safe, and aligned with regulatory and organizational standards in collaboration with Ambulatory Nursing leadership.

  • Monitor operational efficiency to reduce overtime, decrease patient wait times, and improve overall patient, staff, and provider satisfaction.

Salary Range: $132,300.00 - $307,100.00/annually Qualifications

Required:

  • Current California RN License

  • BSN or MSN

  • 3 years of recent ambulatory experience*, preferably in an urgent care or emergency department setting (staff nurse/charge nurse/manager)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
