Full job description

Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance, is seeking a dedicated Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Support Department, supporting multiple locations and ensuring the optimal operation of critical systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Mobile HVAC Technician

Location: Brewster, NY

Pay Range: $33-$37/hr

What's the Job?

  • Perform maintenance, monitoring, and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, life safety, and control systems to ensure facilities meet applicable standards.

  • Travel between multiple facilities to ensure proper operation and functionality.

  • Maintain responsibility for facility services, including preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, and overseeing contracted maintenance work.

  • Maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment through cleaning, inspection, calibration, and replacement of parts to ensure optimal performance.

  • Record equipment readings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation, while adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 5–7 years of relevant work experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.

  • Proven ability to analyze mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; diagnose malfunctions; and perform corrective actions.

  • EPA 608 Type II Certification.

  • Valid driver’s license.
