Collection Manager Mid to Experienced Level

Summary

Collection Management is the process of managing and organizing the collection of intelligence from various sources. The NSA is looking to develop a highly talented cadre of individuals in developing, planning, and ensuring the efficiency of NSA's worldwide accesses, collaborating with collection architecture developers, and sustaining access to global communications.

Duties

Identify appropriate collection access points, methods, and/or plans necessary to satisfy specific collection requirements. Develop, plan, and coordinate the deployment of collection systems. Validate, coordinate, issue, adjust, and terminate collection tasking for NSA Collection programs; and collaborate internally and with external agencies to acquire, maintain and maximize access to global communications. Qualifications

FULL PERFORMANCE Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience. High school diploma or GED plus 7 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience will be considered. SENIOR Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 4 year of relevant experience. High school diploma or GED plus 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience will be considered.

Education

The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Relevant experience must be in signals intelligence (SIGINT) collection, and/or analysis; and the collection management process. Completion of military training in a relevant area such as Signals Collection or Analysis program will be considered towards the relevant experience requirement (i.e., a 24-week course will count as 6 months of experience). Degree in any field is acceptable. How You Will Be Evaluated

Pay: Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Salary Range: $73,591 - $181,216 (Full Performance, Senior) Salary range varies by location, work level, and relevant experience to the position. On the job training, internal NSA courses, and external training will be made available based on the need and experience of the selectee. Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, with basic 8hr/day work requirement between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (flexible).
