What are your contributions to the team?

  • Handle core and warranty issues and programs

  • Initiate stock transport orders as required

  • Contact external vendor to determine if customer is enrolled in special programs, including warranty

  • Confirm external vendor is charging correct price per contract

  • Negotiate timely delivery of product to meet customer needs

  • Assist in training co-workers on applicable systems and supplier programs

  • May be responsible for taking end-to-end ownership of an assigned program, process, or area

  • May be responsible for training and mentoring less-experienced employees on systems, processes, and supplier programs

  • May be responsible for coordinating with buyers and external vendors on contractual and supply issues

  • May be responsible for providing occasional leadership support and coverage for management

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of inventory planning and analysis

  • Working knowledge of parts procurement

  • Working knowledge of computers to input and retrieve data for Inventory Management

  • Working knowledge of facility layout and building locations

  • Working knowledge of Repair Station System inventory processes

  • Working knowledge of aircraft parts and terminology

  • Working knowledge of internal and external supplier programs

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation or material/parts environment or other demonstrated equivalent experience

  • Training or equivalent experience with an MRP system

  • Minimum of 2 or more years experience in inventory forecasting and analysis

  • Experience driving KPIs and resolving supplier or material issues (preferred)

  • Ability to read and interpret technical or mechanical prints (preferred)
