What are your contributions to the team?
-
Handle core and warranty issues and programs
-
Initiate stock transport orders as required
-
Contact external vendor to determine if customer is enrolled in special programs, including warranty
-
Confirm external vendor is charging correct price per contract
-
Negotiate timely delivery of product to meet customer needs
-
Assist in training co-workers on applicable systems and supplier programs
-
May be responsible for taking end-to-end ownership of an assigned program, process, or area
-
May be responsible for training and mentoring less-experienced employees on systems, processes, and supplier programs
-
May be responsible for coordinating with buyers and external vendors on contractual and supply issues
-
May be responsible for providing occasional leadership support and coverage for management
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-
Working knowledge of inventory planning and analysis
-
Working knowledge of parts procurement
-
Working knowledge of computers to input and retrieve data for Inventory Management
-
Working knowledge of facility layout and building locations
-
Working knowledge of Repair Station System inventory processes
-
Working knowledge of aircraft parts and terminology
-
Working knowledge of internal and external supplier programs
How to thrive in this role?
-
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation or material/parts environment or other demonstrated equivalent experience
-
Training or equivalent experience with an MRP system
-
Minimum of 2 or more years experience in inventory forecasting and analysis
-
Experience driving KPIs and resolving supplier or material issues (preferred)
-
Ability to read and interpret technical or mechanical prints (preferred)
