Desert Hand and Physical Therapy opened its doors in 1997 with one therapist and an office manager, who shared common goals of providing patients with the best and most qualified upper-extremity care in the Valley of the Sun. Today, Desert Hand and Physical Therapy has grown to 10 locations around the Valley.
Job Description
JOB DETAILS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Kind and compassionate patient and employee service.
-
Adhere to company policies and procedures, government regulations, safety, and infection control protocols

Follow strict HIPAA laws
-
Assist patients with exercises under the supervision of a licensed therapist.

Maintain, set up, and clean treatment areas before and after therapy sessions.

Prepare therapy equipment and assist with the application of modalities per OT/PT state practice guidelines
-
Escort patients to and from therapy areas as needed, adhering to patient safety concerns.

Monitor and report patient responses to the treating therapist during therapy sessions
-
Maintain inventory of therapy supplies and report low stock levels
-
Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, answering phones, scheduling, and patient check-in and check-out responsibilities.

Additional tasks as assigned by the Manager

Driving between the clinics for coverage and meetings
Qualifications
Good communication skills, reliable, eager to learn, and enjoys helping others. We are willing to teach and train those interested in the medical or rehabilitation fields. It's a good place to interact with patients and gain extensive exposure to physical therapy treatment programs. All employees are required to complete a background check.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
