Description
Wheeler Machinery Co. is hiring qualified Field Service Technicians. Full-time benefited position. Keep safety first in all tasks while utilizing TRACK/Tyfoom. Will be responsible for performing accurate troubleshooting & diagnosing, timely repairs, and component installation on all different makes of equipment not limited to Caterpillar, JLG, Genie, Broce, Multiquip, Husqvarna, Kenworth, and Freightliner.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Utilize safe working habits in all aspects of the job.

Must be willing to work out of town, overtime and weekends as needed.

Maintain Service truck and company provided tooling and equipment.

Good working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, fuel systems, and basic machine operation.

Demonstrated excellent work ethic with self-motivation, ability to work safe with minimal supervision on customer job sites, while maintaining dealership expectations of thoroughness and customer service.
Required Qualifications:
-
Have and maintain a clean MVR (no more than 1 moving violation under the age of 25, and no more than 2 if over the age of 25).

Have the ability to keep up with new technology and advancements.

Must be comfortable working at heights up to 85ft.

Must be able to obtain and maintain MSHA clearances.

Must have own tools up to ¾” drive and basic mechanic tools.
-
Working outside of normal business hours as the business demands and on call rotating weekends for emergency service on broken equipment.
