Dialysis Technician

Setting: Healthcare Facilities

Job Type: Contract - Part Time

Pay: $28 / Hour

Hours: 32.00

Location: Chicago, IL

The Dialysis Technician provides dialysis treatment to patients suffering from kidney failure. The Dialysis Technician is responsible for operating dialysis machines and providing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. The Dialysis Technician works directly under and closely with registered nurses as members of the patient care team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid State professional dialysis license,where required

  • Dialysis Technician Certification by the National NephrologyTechnology Certification Board preferred and/or per state or clientrequirements

  • Minimum of one year experience in dialysis preferred

  • Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

  • Current CPR if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

  • Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
