✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for an Instructional Team Lead at Western Secure Treatment Unit in Emlenton, Pennsylvania✨
Western Secure Treatment Unit (WSTU) is a secure post-adjudication facility that provides comprehensive services to young women (14-21), using a trauma-informed, strength-based, gender responsive model. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features residential student dormitories, on-site schooling, a vocational CTE student work training program, a dining hall, and extracurricular opportunities for the young men. Pay: $75,000/annually

What you will do: The Instructional Team Lead implements the Clinical Supervision of Instruction and the effective delivery of Target Teaching ~ Attends Leadership meetings and disseminate information across departments ~ Facilitate and organizes Educational activities ~ Collects and submits KPI educational data ~ Supports the site’s Professional Learning Community process by consistently communicating relevant information ~ works in conjunctions with the Principal in leading the process and preparing for PLC activities; Implements the Educational Advocacy process ~ ensures that all students have a PLP, Post Secondary Plan, teachers are tracking, monitoring and reporting PLP progress and there is a consistency in Educational Advocacy procedures ~ Responsible for CTE staff, evaluates vocational programs, supervises instructors and implements vocational programming that aligns with current Career and Technical Educational programs.
To be considered you should: Possess a current and valid State teaching credential ~ Possesses an Administrator Certification or has a professional growth plan with a timeline for completion of the certification ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC for pre-employment), physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
