Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 7315 E Frontage Rd City: Merriam State: Kansas Postal Code: 66204 Job Description:

Full Time Days (4 days, rotating day off during the week) 7:00am - 4:30pm

• Monitors and identifies AR trends, providing feedback to management.
• Answers advanced inquiries from patients, guarantors, insurance carriers, and departments.
• Serves as the first point of contact for staff regarding AR questions and concerns.
• Participates in quarterly presentations on industry standards and other assigned topics.
• Collaborates with team leaders to identify and implement process improvements.
• Utilizes Cerner and other required systems effectively.
• Works proficiently with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Prioritizes tasks based on importance and departmental goals.
• Participates in strategic projects and tasks assigned by management.
• Assists in meeting upfront cash collection goals.
• Communicates honestly and resolves issues as they arise.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Medical Terminology [Required]
• Prior Cerner Application Experience [Preferred]

Education:

• Associate [Preferred]
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• N/A

Work Experience:

• 3+ position-related experience [Required]
• 5+ experience in hospital billing, ar management and/or customer service [Required]
• Position-Related Experience [Preferred]

Pay Range:
