Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Wind Operations Team Lead for one of our renewable energy clients, in Holbrook, Arizona. This individual will serve as the on-site leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of wind farm operations and maintenance (O&M). The role will lead a team of wind technicians while partnering closely with engineers, contractors, vendors, and regional leadership to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the facility.
- Lead and supervise wind technicians responsible for turbine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Oversee all site operations and maintenance activities to maximize turbine availability and energy production.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and third-party vendors to execute maintenance projects and operational initiatives.
- Manage site budgeting, planning, scheduling, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Monitor site performance metrics, maintenance costs, and equipment reliability.
- Partner with regional leadership to drive operational improvements and achieve production goals. Develop and mentor site personnel while fostering a strong safety-first culture.
Skills and Requirements
- 8+ years of wind energy operations experience
- 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
- Experience managing wind farm operations and maintenance activities
- Background in wind project development, planning, budgeting, and execution
- Experience coordinating with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external vendors
- Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and environmental standards within wind generation
- Proven ability to manage schedules, priorities, and operational performance metrics Excellent communication and team-building skills
