Full job description

Your future role at a glance

  • Location: Pensacola, FL

  • Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola Hospital

  • Department: Retail Pharmacy

  • Schedule: Day Shift | Full-time

How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Review, compound and dispense medications accurately to resolve drug-related issues and ensure safe clinical outcomes.

  • Provide clinical drug information, counseling and cost-effective formula recommendations to improve staff and patient decision-making.

  • Oversee pharmacy technicians to maintain safe medication preparation and efficient supply management.

  • Serve as an academic preceptor to mentor, train and develop future pharmacy professionals.

  • Float flexibly across operational areas to maintain continuous, high-quality patient care delivery.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
