Job Description

  • Seeking a HVAC Controls Technician in the DMV area.

  • This role involves performing HVAC Control systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventative maintenance as it is related to mechanical, electrical, and low voltage controls components.

  • Techs will travel to 1–2 locations per day, responding to service and warranty calls with assignments provided the day prior. Aiming to keep travel local when possible.

  • This is a high-impact role on a growing team, ideal for someone with strong technical chops, great communication, and a commercial-only background.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3+ years of HVAC controls experience Hands-on with Direct Digital Control (DDC) and Building Automation System (BAS) systems experience (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, Trane, Carrier)

  • Must have commercial-only experience (no residential)

  • Strong mechanical and electro-mechanical aptitude

  • Proficient with hand tools and electrical testing equipment (e.g., multi-meter)

  • Excellent communication skills — personable, clear, and confident • Experience with Metasys

  • Familiarity with large commercial builds
