Full job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for aStock Room Clerkto join a leading Company located in theIrvine, CA surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $20-22/Hour

Our Inventory Clerk will assist with Inventory and Material handling of all product categories (Aluminum, Inconel, Finished Goods, etc.).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, store, issue, and transact aerospace materials while maintaining accurate inventory records in Oracle MRP systems.

  • Package, label, and stage materials for production work orders with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and material movements to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability.

  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of controlled and regulated materials in accordance with company and industry requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support material traceability, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances in a timely manner.

  • Verify material certifications, part numbers, work orders, and related documentation for accuracy and completeness.

  • Safely operate material handling equipment to transport and store inventory.

  • Support and participate in company-wide physical inventories, serving in a lead role when assigned.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through excellent housekeeping practices.

  • Perform material transactions and accurately place inventory into designated storage locations.

  • Assist with other stockroom and inventory-related duties as assigned.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of six months of related warehouse, stockroom, or inventory experience preferred.

  • Experience with receiving, stocking, cycle counting, packaging, labeling, scanning, picking, packing, and shipping activities is a plus.

  • Manufacturing and/or aerospace industry experience preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, parts handling, shop equipment, and inventory control processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret part numbers, work orders, material certifications, and inventory documentation.

  • Understanding of Unit of Measure (UOM) concepts and inventory transactions.

  • Basic computer skills and experience entering transactional data into inventory or ERP systems.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy.

  • Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse during scheduled shifts.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely.

  • Knowledge of handling controlled or regulated materials is preferred.
