Robert Half Finance and Accounting and Kevin Sweet have partnered with a growing and innovative Financial Services organization in Fort Worth is adding an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to its team. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly accounting close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP

  • Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  • Support the integrity of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

  • Partner with internal business teams to ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards

  • Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet variance/flux analysis

  • Analyze financial results, trends, performance metrics, and benchmarks

  • Assist with quarterly reviews and testing performed by internal and external auditors

  • Support financial statement preparation, reporting, and other accounting requirements

  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed

  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate accounting and reporting processes

Requirements

Qualiications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in public accounting, fund administration, or investment accounting.

  • Prior exposure to fund structures and partnership accounting is strongly preferred.

  • Progress toward a CPA or an active CPA credential is considered an advantage.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work efficiently with complex spreadsheets.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external providers.

  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, sound judgment, and strong attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.
