Role – Rehab Ward Manager Location – The Wellington Hospital, St Johns Wood, London Full Time – 37.5 per week Salary- Competitive + Excellent Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)

We’re looking for a Ward Manager to join our Neuro Rehabilitation team at The Wellington Hospital. As the Ward Manager for our 17 bedded Neurological Rehab Unit you will have continued responsibility for leadership and the safe management of the clinical area by maintaining a visible and professional presence in a clinical setting. You will provide clinical leadership within defined areas by acting as a positive role model, who practices evidence-based care, to ensure high standards of clinical care.

The Wellington Hospital's Rehabilitation Centre, part of HCA Healthcare UK, is the largest private centre in the UK. Designed specifically for rehabilitation patients, we provide intensive and bespoke programmes of care for patients particularly those with complex neurological injuries and conditions such as a stroke, head injury or spinal cord injury. We have a Neurological Rehabilitation Unit, Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness Unit (PDOC), Medical Rehabilitation Programme, Functional Restoration Programme (FRP) and Polytrauma and Amputee Rehabilitation Programme.

What you’ll bring:

  • RGN with current NMC PIN
  • Evidence of post graduate experience with leadership skills/managing people*
  • Previous experience of working within Neuro-rehab
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
