Roles and Responsibilities

This role works with clients to transform their product portfolios and value chains across industries where physical products are increasingly software-defined.

• Strategy & Blueprint Design: Architect end-to-end AI and agentic solutions for product portfolio strategy, demand forecasting, and product lifecycle management. Products across every industry - automotive, industrial equipment, electronics, consumer goods, and even formulation-based products are becoming software-defined, as embedded sensing, digital twins, and AI-driven formulation turn physical goods into data-generating, continuously optimized platforms. This role designs the agentic enablement that spans hardware, software, and formulation-based product development from concept through production.

• Portfolio & Complexity Strategy: Lead data harmonization, platform clustering, and product rationalization efforts that quantify the cost and reward of complexity across sprawling product portfolios, and translate those decisions into agentic architectures - coordinated networks of specialized agents that execute the resulting strategy at scale.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business leaders (CTO, COO, CPO, VP of Supply Chain or Operations) and technical teams to translate strategic goals into system requirements.

• Data Integration: Oversee how data flows across enterprise platforms, including ERP, SAP, PLM, ALM and cloud data lakes.

• Governance & Visibility: Design governance frameworks that give executives real-time visibility into AI and agentic systems, ensuring they remain secure, compliant, cost-effective, and scalable from pilot through production.

• Network & Complexity Reduction: Apply agentic optimization to development, distribution, manufacturing operations, and supporting product networks, and drive end-to-end transformation of configure-to-order and engineer-to-order processes to reduce complexity and accelerate cycle times.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years consulting experience

• 3+ years Agentic AI experience

• Platform engineering experience

• Software defined product experience

• Data integration experience

• Bachelor's Degree

• Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

• Digital twin experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, or Computer Science

• Prior Consulting experience

• Pre-sales experience

• Experience leading a project team in a project client environment.

• Experience with product portfolio strategy, supply chain planning, procurement, strategic sourcing, or product development workflows - including configure-to-order and engineer-to-order processes - across industrial, chemicals, consumer products, automotive, or discrete manufacturing settings.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data pipelines, Python, and machine learning, generative AI, or agentic AI tools.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $141,200-$278,300
