Role description:
As a Technical Support Placement Student, you'll have the valuable opportunity to work closely with our technical support team, enhance your problem-solving skills, and assist our clients in resolving their technical issues.
Position Overview: We're seeking a proactive and motivated Technical Support Placement Student to join our university program for a duration of 9 months starting in June 2027. This Placement will allow you to gain hands-on experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems, learning valuable skills that are essential in today's technology-driven world.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the technical support team to assist clients with their technical inquiries and issues.

Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and professional support experience.

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems related to our products/services.

Offer step-by-step guidance to clients on resolving technical issues via phone, email, or chat.

Document and track customer interactions, resolutions, and feedback in our support systems.

Escalate complex technical issues to senior team members when necessary.

Contribute to the creation of technical support resources, such as knowledge base articles and FAQs.
Qualifications:
-
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Strong interest in technology and a desire to learn about various software and hardware systems.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Patience and empathy when dealing with clients facing technical challenges.

Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting methodologies.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.

Prior technical support or customer service experience is a plus.

Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
Compensation : £14/hour
Duration: 9 months
