Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a HR Employee Relations Specialist who will lead and support employee relations activities. Approximately 30–50% of this position is hands-on Employee Relations work in a high-volume, call-center-like environment. This includes responding to frequent phone calls and emails, investigating workplace concerns, documenting cases, reviewing corrective actions, and advising Property Managers and VPs on employee behavior and performance issues. The remainder of the role focuses on supporting the Employee Relations team, providing policy guidance, identifying case trends, and helping ensure disciplinary and performance-management decisions are consistent, fair, legally compliant, and properly documented.

Skills and Requirements

Approximately 3 years of HR experience, including 1–2 years of direct Employee Relations experience. Experience conducting workplace investigations and addressing behavior, performance, conduct, attendance, or policy concerns. Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially when communicating by phone and email with employees, managers, executives, and legal partners. Ability to handle difficult or emotional conversations calmly and professionally. Strong judgment, confidentiality, discretion, documentation, and decision-making skills. Knowledge of HR practices, investigation methods, employment-law compliance, and risk mitigation Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel experience for reporting and case analysis is preferred. GED or Highschool Diploma Fantastic Communication skills
