Obstetrics Hospitalist

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking an experienced, board-certified Obstetrician to join its established OB Hospitalist team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with certified nurse midwives, family medicine physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and other OB-GYNs to provide high-quality, coordinated care for patients and families.

Responsibilities include managing OB triage for unassigned patients, providing backup support OB-GYN physicians, and performing surgical assists. You will practice at Providence Portland Medical Center, a Magnet®-designated hospital recognized for excellence in nursing care and one of the highest credentials awarded to healthcare organizations worldwide.

Located in the heart of Northeast Portland, Providence Portland Medical Center serves a diverse patient population and is committed to delivering compassionate, culturally responsive care to individuals and families from a wide range of backgrounds.

Position Highlights:

• Part-time, fully benefited at 0.5 FTE (78 shifts per year)

• 12-hour shifts, combination of day and night (7 to 7)

• OB only; no call required

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-years post-graduate clinical experience as Obstetrician, previous OB Hospitalist experience preferred
