Job Description

A Field Project Coordinator has extensive knowledge of the health and safety requirements, terminology, processes, and equipment used in the construction and OM&M of various environmental control systems. Tasks assigned to a Field Project Coordinator are typically related to the management of one or more projects and require a field presence to conduct the work. The Field Project Coordinator position is less advanced than the Field Project Manager position and is considered an intermediate position between the project superintendent classifications and the project manager classifications.A Field Project Coordinator has extensive knowledge of the health and safety requirements, terminology, processes, and equipment used in the construction and OM&M of various environmental control systems. Tasks assigned to a Field Project Coordinator are typically related to the management of one or more projects and require a field presence to conduct the work. The Field Project Coordinator position is less advanced than the Field Project Manager position and is considered an intermediate position between the project superintendent classifications and the project manager classifications.

Has the interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, necessary to lead teams.

  • Extensive knowledge of operations, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various environmental control systems.

  • Ability to work primarily outdoors navigating rough terrain, steep slopes, uneven ground, and grassy or rocky areas with exposure to varying weather conditions.

  • Ability to perform basic math and has strong reading comprehension and writing skills.

  • Strong capabilities in problem-solving and data analysis.

  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and plans, specifications, schematics, manufacturer’s equipment manuals, and system operation and maintenance manuals.

  • Strong working knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.

  • Ability to use and provide training in using basic hand tools and power tools.

  • Ability to effectively operate and provide training in the use of HDPE welding equipment.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.

  • Strong working knowledge of various computer/technology skills including:

o Microsoft Teams

§ Log in and attend meetings

§ Lead meetings with field team and on occasion with clients

o Microsoft Outlook

§ Sending and responding to emails

§ Utilizing Outlook calendar to track exceedance re-monitoring deadlines

Skills and Requirements

5-10 years of experience of relevant OM&M and or construction experience 5 years minimum of experience managing Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record in good standing

Current 40-hour Health and Safety, 8-hour Management and Supervisor, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.20, Confined Space Entry, and Trench Excavation Safety training. or the ability to obtain them

  • 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher Course, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 (e), (q)(8) - or the ability to obtain them
